Cherry smoked St. Louis ribs on a Pit Boss pellet smoker

St Louis Ribs on your pellet smoker!


Ingredients:

• St. Louis ribs

• Caribeque Honey Heat rub

• Cherry pellets

• Caribeque Buffalo Bbq sauce ( optional)


Instructions:

1. Preheat your pellet smoker to 225°F (107°C) using cherry pellets. This will infuse the ribs with a mild, fruity smoke flavor.

2. Remove the membrane from the bone side of the St. Louis ribs. This helps the rub penetrate the meat and ensures better tenderness.

3. Generously apply Caribeque Honey Heat rub to both sides of the ribs, ensuring an even coating.

4. Place the seasoned ribs on the smoker’s cooking grate, bone side down. Close the lid and let them smoke for approximately 3-4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches about 195°F (90°C).

5. Once the ribs reach the desired temperature, remove them from the smoker and let them rest for 10-15 minutes.

This allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in tender and flavorful ribs.

7. Slice the ribs into individual portions and serve them hot.
